About Me

Heya guys, thank you for taking the time to read about me and my little journeys/advises. Before we get start with this whole new "relationship" let me introduce myself.

I am Renata, a Hungarian girl who has been living in the UK, more specifically in the Brighton & Hove area since 2007 (that time I was 19 years old). A long time has passed and I am still trying to build a career in a field that is my TRUE PASSION. My dream as a child was to be a dance teacher/choreographer and/or an interior designer/architect. I know they seem to be two completely different directions but I always appreciated beauty in my life. I`ve done many different sports throughout my youth and hoping to extend this knowledge even further - check out my Sports section or the Bucket List section on my blog.

In August, 2013 I decided to go back to studying again (as I already have a degree in Interior Architecture) and this time get a certificate for Personal Training and Aerobic Instructing. As sports have always been one of my passions and as I really like helping people, I found this decision not too hard to make. Since then I have passed my course and I am a Level 3 qualified Personal
Trainer, Clinicle Nutrition Advisor, Spin Instructor, Kettlebell Trainer, Power Plate Trainer and constantly increasing my knowledge. I believe that this is the only way to become good at what you do, by developing and increasing your knowledge. I also train myself on a regular bases and so far have taken part in several different activities and classes, here are a few:

- Boxing class called Box-X with ZT Gym:  It was one of my favorite classes as it had a great variation of exercises covering the muscles throughout the whole body and by the end of the class you felt like Rocky (from the movie). It helped to lose weight faster as well.

- Warm Yoga with Dynamic Yoga: I was doing this for a year 3 times a week. This is a really special type of yoga as the room is pre-heated to a nice warm temperature where you will carry out your dynamic yoga moves. This type of yoga is great when you have flexibility issues as due to the temperature of room your body relaxes and becomes more flexible. Also great to do so your muscles can get stretchered and recover from a workout. The heat also burns fat faster and the class is put together in a way that it will help you relax, relies stress and for a little while find yourself all over again.

- Spin class with LA Fitness: this is a really instructor dependent class as this class can either be really monotone or a great fun. I had the class either way - once when the instructor was great and made me push hard, motivated me throughout the class, the music was good and  the time passed really fast; and I had a class with instructors where I felt that the class was dreadful, time passed really slow and I could not wait to get out of there.

- Body Combat with Les Mills: this is a class where there is a set routine put together, which gets changed every 3 months. This way you can get better at the class and no matter which studio you go to if they teach Les Mills Body Combat it will be the same routine all around the world. The class is a mixture of boxing, capuera, karate and some other martial arts movements put together to the rythm of the music. I very much enjoy these classes and definitely worth a try.

I always enjoyed doing and holding group activities and team sports. Maybe one day I will have a small studio where I can also teach dance classes for children and have several other different adult classes going as well. My dream is big but I think everything is doable with hard-work and insistence - like working out to have a healthier life! You so contact me if you need motivation, help or interested in working with me through my Contact Me section.
